Registration

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in our soccer programs. Registration for the 2017/18 season is open. All players register through the On-Line Registration link. Registration fees are posted on the Fees page. PLEASE NOTE: Player registrations must be complete in order to participate in assessments or be placed on a team.

BOUNDARIES 

Please consult our map to see if your residence falls within the Bays United catchment area.

HOUSE

Bays House League provides programs for boys and girls ages 5 – 10 years old (U6 – U11). Our regular season runs from September through March. Assessments take place in late-August/early-September.

YOUTH

Bays Youth League provides programs for boys and girls ages 11 – 17 years old (U12 – U18). Our regular season runs from September through March. Assessments take place in the spring and teams are listed on our Team Formation page once determined.

VIPL – VANCOUVER ISLAND PREMIER LEAGUE

VIPL assessments take place in the early Spring. Bays players chosen for VIPL teams will be listed on our Team Formation page once determined. Registration for the 2017/18 season is now closed. For more information about VIPL teams, please visit the VIPL page.

ADULTS

Bays United Senior Soccer is our adult league and has teams for players 18 years old and up. For more information about Seniors teams, please visit the Senior Teams Registration page.

FUNDING ASSISTANCE

Sports should be available to everyone. There are two key organizations that provide funding to several Bays families: Kidsport of Greater Victoria and Canadian Tire Jumpstart. You are also welcome to contact the Director of Registrations to discuss.

WAITLISTS

When Bays has reached a maximum combination of player registrations to known available coaches, in any age division, a waitlist is created. If your child is waitlisted, it does not mean they won’t get placed onto a team. Additional teams are formed when waitlisted players and coach availability can support a team. We try to ensure all waitlisted players are placed on teams by early September.

REFUND POLICY

Refund requests can be made via email to: registration@baysunited.ca, or in writing to the Registrar, Bays United Football Club, PO Box 5358, Unit B, Victoria, V8R 6S4.

  • Requests before September 15: a $25 administrative fee will be deducted from refunds (with the exception of players moving to BC Soccer Premier League [Wave])
  • Requests on/after September 15: applicable Lower Island Soccer Association (LISA) fees also will be deducted from refunds
  • Between August 15-October 15: no refunds will be issued during this time – requests made  during this period will be refunded after October 15
  • After November 1: no refunds issued, except with a medical note
TAX RECEIPTS

If you would like a tax receipt for previous years, please send a request to registration@baysunited.ca.
