Season Registration Opens August 1st

Exciting news! We will be opening registration for the 2020/21 season on August 1st. While there are still many unknowns about what soccer will ultimately look like in the fall, we are planning to offer high-quality programming that will benefit all players.

Our Return to Play Plan outlines the guidelines we are following to be in compliance with BC Soccer Association and to keep our players, coaches and volunteers safe. We are permitting a maximum of 50 people (players and coaches) on the field at one time, players must maintain 2 metres physical distance and there are hygiene protocols in place. For players under 10 years, we are recommending extra parental support on the field to assist with distancing. Our summer training sessions for older players are a great way for us to work within this new reality and to determine the best training model.

Due to the uncertainty of how the season will unfold, we are opening registration with a $100 deposit fee. As we are able to offer more programming, a final program fee will be set and payment will be due at a later date. We expect our registration fees to be similar to last year if we can offer enough field time.

Bays has a new registration system for this season! Be sure to set up your family account in Power Up so that you can register your players for the season. It’s pretty straight forward to set up, but be sure to create your Guardian profile first and then add your players.

Note: when going through the registration process, please be aware that opting out of club emails means you will miss some announcements about program opportunities.

The health and safety of our members is of great importance to Bays. As a member of BCSA, we are held to a high standard that meets both provincial and local health guidelines, and we take this seriously. You may be seeing other groups and organizations playing games, but most of these groups are not bound by the same regulations.
